    Description

    Original vintage photograph.
    It measures approximately
    3 1/4 x 4 1/2
    Inches.
This photograph is of a senior political commissar Peter Efimovich Prikhodko, during WWII he was a politruk in the
236th separate communications battalion of the 36th aircraft-based area. He
went missing in action in January 1942.
Interesting fact: During WWII German soldiers were ordered not to take any political commissars as prisoners by the German high command, and execute them on the spot because they were considered enforcers of "Judeo-Bolshevism" ideology in the military forces.
I am a collector from USA, currently living in Russia.
