in vg condition,great letter just don't know who wrote it, written right after the civil war, This person talks about speaking about Vallandigham and the copperheads, along with two other people trying start another rebellion,great content in this letter, I would say written sometime in the late 1860's, He says these are falsehoods uttered by Rev Garrett.,"Clement Laird Vallandigham was an Ohio politician and leader of the Copperhead faction of anti-war Democrats during the American Civil War. He served two terms in the United States House of Representatives. In 1863, he was convicted at an Army court martial of opposing the war, and exiled to the Confederacy. "
