• COMMON SYMPTOMS THAT MAY INDICATE IT IS TIME TO REPLACE YOUR WATER SOFTENER RESIN ARE: -LOW WATER PRESSURE. THIS IS CAUSED BY THE RESIN GELLING UP AND LEADS TO WATER PRESSURE LOSS. -NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY SUCH AS NOT SOFTENING OR REMOVING IRON.
• THIS IS CAUSED BY THE BEADS "CRACKING" AND LOSING THEIR FUNCTIONALITY.
• THIS IS COMMON ON CITY WATER WHERE THE CHLORINE DRIES OUT THE RESIN.
• A MAJOR PART OF A WATER SOFTENER IS THE MEDIA INSIDE OF IT.
• IF YOUR SOFTENER IS WORKING MECHANICALLY, BUT NOT SOFTENING THE WATER, THEN REPLACE THE MEDIA INSIDE, INSTEAD OF THE WHOLE WATER SOFTENER.
