Vintage French COPPER FLOWER BASKET L.Lecellier Villecieu Marque Deposee

Description

A piece of Lecellier copper is the work of a family with centuries of history in Villedieu, France.
This copper flower basket is the work of Lucien Lecellier between 1931 and 1960.
Handmade for indoor flowers this 7" diameter basket has a removable flower frog 5-3/4" in diameter with 21 3/8" holes.
It measures about 10" tall with its fixed handle.
The words Marque Deposee on its hallmark denote the firms name is trademarked.
It is slightly out-of-round and has a small dent on the bottom rim.
