Up for your consideration is vintage 1970 copper skillet made in France by Metaux Ouvres-Soul Art et Cuisine.
A LITTLE HISTORY:
* Copper is the oldest metal used by man
* Oldest copper relic discovered dated 8700 BC
* American Hero Paul Revere was a coppersmith
* Julia Child LOVED cooking with copper pans
* Copper provides great temperature control and heat conductivity
FEATURES:
* This skillet is shallow with sloped sides and a flat bottom
* Excellent for regular frying, but also
sautéing
, browning, searing and quick stir-frying
* Exterior copper just cleaned and shined: the color is brilliant
* Interior tin lining also cleaned up well: just a few signs of use
* Bronze handle is secured by 3 copper rivets which are solidly in place
* Purchased brand new in 1970, and used to cook meals from Gourmet Magazine
