Vintage 11-5/8" Copper Charger or Tray w/Etched Celtic or Islamic Geometric Des.

Description

A really nice old copper charger or round tray that has an etched design of unknown origin.  The center has an interlocking geometric pattern with vines that looks Celtic, although this type of design could be from as far east as India.  The edge has more vines with shells at the edge.  It is 11-5/8" in diameter and weighs almost 2 lbs.  The etching is very well done.  The condition is excellent with no damage.  It has an even brown patina with a reddish area in the center where something likely covered it at one point.
