    Description

    This is a very large and uncommon antique copper lid/cover made by the respected L.F.D & H (Louis Francois Duparquet & Huot) between the years 1874-1885. It is 18 3/4” in diameter; 1/2” high; and is heavy,  weighing 5 7/8 pounds. The iron handle is attached to the body with 3 original copper rivets on each side. It is polished. There is a small hole on the edge used to hang it. This is a rare, very large lid that would be a fine addition to any collection. (NOTE: Sometimes the shipping cost, especially on large pieces such as this one, is overstated by the eBay calculator.
