The Trojan UVMax Model D4 offers the same level of sterilization as the Model C4, however, it has several additional features including a elapsed time meter and lamp replacement reminder. However, the most important difference between the Model C4 and D4 is that the Model D has two important capabilities that the Model C4 does not: a UV intensity monitor, and the ability to add an optional solenoid kit. Similar to the Model C4, the Model D4 is appropriate for most residential applications where flow rates will generally not exceed about 7.5 gallons per minute.
