You are bidding on ONE (1) woven REPLICA ribbon for a Spanish American War Medal.  THIS IS NOT ORIGINAL ISSUE EQUIPMENT but a high quality woven replacement faithfully reproduced.
In 1904, the United Spanish War Veterans was formed from many smaller groups of the veterans of the Spanish American War.  Eligibility for membership included those veterans who served in armed conflict during the Spanish American War, which was fought between April & August 1898, or during the Philippine American War 1889-1902 (two separate wars that the U.S. Government has always treated as one conflict.)  Over 325,000 Americans served in the Spanish American War, with U.S. forces in the Philippine-American War peaking at over 70,000.
Since most United Spanish War Veterans Medals are approaching 100 years of age and up, the original cloth ribbons, even those few that survive intact, deteriorate each time they are touched or exposed to the elements, and are especially susceptible to fading from the sun or harsh incandescent lighting.  So, surviving medals in good condition are increasingly rare, especially where the original cloth ribbon is concerned.
Through removing and properly storing your medal’s original issue ribbon, you can now wear or display your cherished keepsake while protecting its value for generations yet to come.
The first replacement ribbon offered with the

is the
standard medal ribbon
and it measures 1 3/16" (30mm) x 4 1/2" (115mm), with each
blue field
measuring 3/4" (20mm) x 5/8" (15mm).

We cannot be responsible for any items shipped outside of the United States if damaged, refused, or seized by customs regulators in your country, etc.  Import duties, taxes, and other charges you might incur due to overseas shipping are not included in the item price and are the buyer’s responsibility.  Please check with your country's Customs Office and /or Postal Service to determine what, if any, additional costs will be added prior to bidding/buying.  Delivery time to your country can vary widely, from a few days to many weeks, depending on your local mail processing and/or customs inspection requirements.

Save $$$ on Shipping and Handling!
We will combine all item shipped at the same time and to the same address and you will only pay Shipping and Handling on the highest cost item, regardless of how many items you purchase.  So, if purchasing multiple items, please ask us to send you an invoice so we can properly deduct any excess S & H charges. PAYMENT POLICY:  Payment must be received within 3-business days of purchase and the item will not be shipped until payment clears.
RETURN POLICY:  If anything in this offering has been misstated, we will take the item back and refund all your money, including return postage, once the item, in “like new” condition, is in our possession.  If you received an item in error, we will replace it once the incorrect item is in our possession, and we will reimburse you for the actual cost of return postage.  All other returns must be approved by us, in advance, received within 14-calendar days of your receipt, and are to be packaged and insured to assure deliver in “like new” condition.  Refunds on returned items exclude all postage, handling, payment processing fees, insurance, etc. associated with the sale of this item.
