in EMBROIDERED RIBBED COTTON
Adorable little summer coat for a little girl from the early twentieth century.
It is made of ribbed cotton and decorated with a large collar forming a shoulder cover.
The collar, the front opening and the bottom of the coat are copiously edged with flowers in renaissance embroidery with stems and leaves embroidered in satin stitch.
A large satin stitch borders the bottom of the mantle between the groups of flowers.
large pleats in the back give fullness and highlight the embroidery.
It closed with 2 snaps or 2 small staples at the top of the bust behind the collar. These have been removed and need to be replaced.
