    Description

    This multi-capacity American standard measure (quart-to-gill)  follows J. Coover's 1872 patent for forming measures of sheet-metal.   I've had several examples of these in tinplate with pewter handles over the years, but this is the first I've had in copper with a brass handle.  7" tall.   Excellent, polished condition.   A truly handsome form!
