    Description

Roycroft "Early-Mark" Hammered Copper "Brass Wash" Bookends. 2 Hand Wrought Bookends crafted between 1909 & 1920 by the Elbert Hubbard's Roycroft Studios & Campus of East Aurora New York. These Copper Bookends were hand hammered by his craftsmen, within his shop. The campus is a National Historic Landmark open to this day, with an Inn on the premises, opposite the preserved manufacturing building.
The Roycroft Copper "Early Mark" is signified by the Single Stylized R with the bottom to lower right "leg of the R" Moniker curved upward as shown.
Also as was common that "Trefoil" Office & Decorative items were painted with enamel with the color of a frosty Dark Green. These pics do not offer proof of that possibility, with exception of Pic. #6 & #8.
