This pressed sheet copper was made in 1927 ( 95 years old) to celebrate Canada’s Diamond Jubilee 1867 - 1927
Sent to one-room school houses to be mounted on the wall. This one is a rare French version showing Our Country written in French: NOTRE PATRIE and sent to the French speaking territories.
Getting harder to find many of these were buried when the school houses were abandoned and knocked down. During WWII many were melted so metal could be used for war efforts.
