Description
This is a Shure Brothers, Inc. model # 201 ceramic hand microphone from a local Amateur Radio operator's Estate sale. It appears to be in good condition, but it has not been tested, so it is sold as-is. It has a coiled cord terminated in a standard 3-conductor stereo phone plug connector. Depending on the radio that you're using, the mic plug will need to be obtained and correctly wired for operation with your particular radio.I've seen these used with many Ham Radio Transceivers, and should work with nearly any Ham/CB Radio. I don't have the Instruction sheet, but it is available for on-line download.
Some general notes from the instruction sheet: "The Model 201 communications microphone is a pressure-actuated diaphragm type, ceramic microphone. It was designed for clear, crisp, natural voice reproduction of high intelligibility. The microphone is recommended for all types of mobile communications, such as police, fire, utility, forestry, and transportation services, including fixed station, amateur, Citizens Band, and any other applications where a rugged hand held microphone is required.
Model 201 is relatively immune to adverse temperature and humidity, and it will operate in temperatures to 71 deg. C (160 deg. F). The microphone is high impedance with omnidirectional polar characteristics."
I also have a similar Shure model # 401B hand microphone listed in a separate auction.

Shipping will be via USPS or FedEx (whichever is less expensive) and the shipping charges will be .85 to CONUS ONLY locations, based on other Shure hand-held microphones of similar size and weight that I've recently shipped.
Any International sales must use eBay's Global Shipping Program service, where I ship the unit to their forwarding center in Kentucky, and eBay takes care of the necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then they ship onward to the winning bidder. No Direct Overseas Sales!
Because of the shipping arrangements that are done out-of-state, I am not able to combine shipment of multiple items. I ship via FedEx within five days of auction end and receipt of payment. By the time the item is put up for auction, it has already been packed for shipping.
Please understand that once I've dropped off an item to be shipped, I have no further control of when it will actually arrive at your location. Occasionally, the shipping company routes the package through some far, out-of-the-way locations which can greatly delay the shipping time, compared to what eBay quotes for delivery times.
Please see my other auction listings for additional Amateur Radio and Electronic items. Thanks for looking!
