ANY Motorola radio using the RJ-45 8 pin modular plug!
Simply plug your mic into the jack on one side and then connect the two included cables to your radios! Push button A or B to select radio!
How do I know if this will work with my mics/radios?
If your (8 pin flat modular connector) mics work with your
(8 pin flat modular connector)
radios individually, then this switch will work for you!
Can I mix microphone and radio brands? Probably not, ONLY if all mics work with all radios to be switched!
Microphone switch and cables included can be used for any radio that uses the Motorola 8 pin modular RJ-45 plug / jack.
IF your mics work with your radios individually, then this will work for you.
The cables are high quality 36" (3 feet) flat cable with a male RJ-45 plug professionally crimped on each end.

It is wired as "straight through", meaning pin1 goes to pin 1, pin 2 goes to pin 2, etc.
ALL 8 pins are wired and switched
What I have done and what I see others do it to glue or double sided tape or other way mount this switch anywhere you want to plug your microphone into.
That would then make a solid location to have your microphone plugged into.
This is especially useful when you mount your radios and want to have only one mic to work with both of your radios.
OR
I use this at one of my operating positions to use either a Motorola base mic or a hand mic
I use this at another operating position to use one mic with two radios (in my case, one CDM UHF radio and one GM300 VHF radio)
I use this in my car to have only one mic to work with two radios
It is also useful when you have your radio mounted under the shelf of your operating position but want the microphone cord to not lay across the radios or computer screen below!
I know, I created this to solve MY problem! Now I share it with you.
RADIOS AND MICROPHONE NOT INCLUDED!
It makes it so much easier to not have to put stress and strain on your microphone cable just because of where you mounted the radio!
