    Mikimoto Antique Rare Black Opal Ring 5.5sz.3.5g
    Upon emailing with Mikimoto they verified the hallmark.
    I was also informed that there may not be another example like one of one!!!
    The rare black opal is smooth as a button and the stone has beautiful veins and glow throught.
    The provenance of this heirloom was the previous owners (passed) grandfather a Captain was a whaler and also was in Japan during war times. Very early Mikimoto maybe one of a kind.
    Circa late c1800s- early 1900s.
