Massive Antique Art Deco Austrian 14K Yellow Gold & Tourmaline Designer Ring
A gorgeous antique ring made in the early 1920s in Vienna, Austria by an unidentified designer. The timeless design features a hand cut green Tourmaline set in a solid 14K yellow gold frame. The Tourmaline is facetted in the back and smooth on the surface, giving it a unique look and dazzling light effects.
This stunning piece is a size 11, measures 3/4" wide (front piece) and weighs an impressive 7.9 grams. Very good antique condition with only a few signs of wear on the gemstone edges.
Stamped "585" (European for 14K gold) and carrying the Austrian "horse head" mark identifying a production year not later than 1925 and the city of Vienna. Also carrying an unidentified designer mark.
