Archive of Six Letters from Building Contractors in Farmer Village, NY Sent to Solomon Deals of Seneca Falls. Farmer Village, New York: 1887. A collection of six business letterheads, three on the letterhead of "Patrick Mathews, Contactor & Builder, Farmer Village, N.Y." and three on the letterhead of "John King Jr. Architect and Builder" also of Farmer Village. Each generally 1pp, with original pink printed envelopes. Two checks and one receipt are included as well. The letters relate to building work done for Mr. Solomon Deal of Seneca Falls, NY, including payment and a dispute we had with Kind, who writes in part "If you think there is anything wrong take your lawyer with you...If you do not come I will protect my rights which will be very expensive to you." Stamps removed from envelopes, which have some toning and tearing.
