    Description

    This is a top quality antique copper fish poacher with brass handles. It is in very good condition, with no dents, cracks, etc., and only scratches customary  for all such antique used  copperware. It is a nice size, being 20” length, , excluding brass handles; 24” length , including brass handles; 6” wide at top; and 4 1/2” high. It is nicely dovetailed down the side and around the bottom; has a rolled rim; is polished; and is made of heavy gauge copper, weighing 10 1/4 pounds. It was previously re-tinned, and the tinning remains good, except for one small area of less than a penny. It is stamped with what I believe is an individual’s or family’s attractive monogram/initials  (see photo). It does not come with a tray. Given the brass handles, I believe it is a high quality English fish poacher.
