Good-Very Good overall antique cond: For sale is this very handsome & quite well pres period, American Arts & Crafts antique pr of hammered & hand tooled, hvy, substantial, thick walled flower pots. They feat floral-like, wide mouth openings, w/figured sidewalls, the result of being hammered or punched w/a hammer & nail. The flower pots or sm planters still enjoy their nat aged, oxidized copper metal patina that hasn't been chemically polished or stripped of their age enhanced surfaces. The pr was found in a home in southern NH & were wrapped in dishtowels. They have complex copper colors & most importantly, their sidewalls, top edge or raised & cleated bottoms, show no evidence of abuse & are without dings, dents, deep abrasions, scuffs or deformities. The interiors show evidence of being prev used as floral planters & have residual oxidation & slight episodes of verdigris patina. One pot has a re-soldered base, hidden from view. Auth, orig period Arts & Crafts tooled artifacts. Wow!
