    Newport Folk Festival – July 22-25
    1965 – This is the 64 page program / booklet for the 1965 NFF. This is the year that DYLAN famously “went electric” at the festival. The images, performer bios and schedules are fascinating and the list of performing artists is absolutely staggering. SON HOUSE, DONOVAN, MS JOHN HURT, BILL MONROE, KWESKIN JUG Band, LIGHTNIN’ HOPKINS, MAYBELLE CARTER and on and on and on.
    The program feels like a magazine at 64 pages / 8.5 x 11 inches and on thick paper with a textured, matte cover that evokes the feel of a FOLKWAYS LP from that era.
    This copy is from the collection of HARRY TUFT (musician, founder of the Denver Folklore Center, raconteur) who was on the side of the stage during DYLAN’s set. It is in VG+/EX condition and graded 7/10.
