COPPER CONFECTIONERS BAKERS DROPPER PAN DIPPER - ERRINGTON -PORTSMOUTH, ENGLAND

As stamped on this piece, the maker is T. ERRINGTON & SONS MAKERS SOUTHSEA WKS PORTSMOUTH (England)  (see photo). Relative to the Errington Company, one article stated “Suppliers of high quality cookware to confectioners and bakers”. This is an early 1900s copper piece with no dents, etc., and with many of the pieces being hand soldered together. I believe you place the liquid chocolate or other topping into the piece and then pour it over the cake or pastries. It is 13” long, 3” high, well-made, and weighs 1 3/4 pounds.  I have seen only one other, and don’t know its exact name. This is a unique copper piece that would be a fine addition to any collection.
