c1920s Stunning Vintage Platinum & ~2ct Diamond Ring

Description

Presented is a stunning & simply fabulous platinum and diamond ring. This
is an American piece, dating to around the 1920s. The ring is set with a large
diamond in the center, surrounded by 30 additional diamonds of varying sizes.
The center diamond is an old mine cut stone about 90 points in size, of I-2
clarity and I color, but very clean and vibrant. The rest of the diamonds range
in size from 10 to 3 points, totaling at least 1.2 carats, possibly 1.3. The
total diamond weight for the ring is at least 2 carats, probably more like 2.1
to 2.2 carats. The platinum setting is very elegant and well made, with a
milgrain finish surrounding the diamonds and beautifully hand engraved designs
on the shank.
The ring is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid
and guarantee it to be platinum.
The ring is in great condition. The diamonds are securely set, with no chips.
The milgrain finish is nice and crisp. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The ring is a size 6 3/4.
The ring weighs 4.6 grams.
