    This is 4 promo album cover slicks for various artists albums, which have a least one song by Bob Dylan :
    One is for the 2003 Soundtrack album "Masked And Anonymous".         This is a double long slick that is perforated in the middle.    The top half of the front looks just like the album cover.     The bottom half says "Includes 4 brand new Bob Dylan recordings plus performances of Bob Dylan songs from Los Lobos, Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia and more".          The back side says "Also available Masked And Anonymous Limited Edition 2-CD set contains 6 recordings from the upcoming Bob Dylan Revisited - The Reissue Series".      And "Bob Dylan Revisited - The Reissue Series,  The legendary music of Bob Dylan re-mastered from the original tapes.  15 classic albums In Stores September 2003, You could never improve the music.  But wait until you hear the sound".       This was printed by Columbia Records.
    One is for the 2004 various artists album  "Fahrenheit 9/11".      This is a double long slick that is perforated in the middle.    The top half of the front looks just like the album cover.      The bottom half says "Songs Of Patriotism, War, Freedom And Hope, featuring the new track "We Want It All" performed by Zack De La Rocha".     The back side lists all of the songs by all of the artists ( including Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, System Of A Down, Pearl Jam, John Fogerty, The Clash, Jeff Buckley, and others.)     This was printed by Epic Records.
    One is for the 2005 Soundtrack album "North Country".        This is a double long slick that is perforated in the middle.     It is also perforated so the bottom 6 inches can be folded into a mini stand-up.      The top half look just like the album cover.    The bottom half says "Featuring The New Song 'Tell Ol' Bill' Written and Performed by Bob Dylan.  Only available on the North Country Soundtrack.   Plus Music by The Bellamy Brothers, Kim Carnes, Cat Power, Mac Davis, Leo Kottke, Gustavo, Santaolalla, and Warren Zevon".        The back side lists all of the songs and all of the artists ( which include 4 songs by Bob Dylan).       This was  printed by Columbia Records.
    One is for the 2011 various artists album "Hank Willimas : The Lost Notebooks".     This is a slick with a 6 inch perforated bottom section.     The top of the front looks just like the album cover.    The back sides has the title in giant lettering in the same style as the album cover.   Below it says "Hank's Lost Songs Set To Music For The Very First Time By : Alan Jackson, Bob Dylan, Norah Jones, Jack White, Lucinda Williams, Vince Gill & Rodney Crowell, Patty Loveless, Levon Helm, Holly Williams, Jakob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, and Merle Haggard.        This was printed by Columbia Records.

    Album cover slicks are used to promote an album when it is first released.     They are thin cardboard sheets.       The front looks just like the album cover.     Usually the back is different.   They are the same size (12X12) as an album cover, but they do not hold an album.     They were given free to record stores to promote new albums.     They are 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide.      Some people call these flats.

    I started collecting records and Rock N Roll memorabilia in 1966.     I started selling records in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Port Townsend, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'.       My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.      I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.        I only have a few fanzines, posters, slicks, press kits, sheet music, and flyers.
    Packaging :
    I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     These will be sealed inside an inner clear plastic album sleeve.     I will package these flat, like a record.         I use hand cut composite cardboard that won't get bent.   The package will say "Fragile Records" in red on both sides.
