Up for sale is the second ring in a pair of similar rings we acquired at auction, an Antique SIGNED Ostby & Barton 1920's Art Deco Antique Cut Natural & Genuine Diamond Solid Sterling Silver & 10k Solid White Gold Ladies Cocktail Ring. This Original Antique SIGNED Ostby & Barton 1920's Art Deco Solid Sterling Silver & 10k Solid White Gold Ring is bead set with a 1.5
mm Natural & Genuine Antique Single Cut Diamond. This diamond was set using an old technique using a hand graver. This type of antique single cut diamond has a larger table and a round girdle and no culet facet. A single cut diamond has 16 to 18 facets. This type of single cut is an early diamond cut dating to the 19th and early 20th century.
The reason for the diamond to be cut in this manner is so that the light is brought in at such an angle that the vision which those gazing upon the diamond perceive is one of brilliance and fire. This diamond has very nice color and clarity and is guaranteed to be both Genuine & Natural. As far as clarity it is conservatively in the SI range. As far as color it is hard to say because it is mounted in white gold mount so our best estimate is that it is in the J-K range. This Diamond is in
PERFECT PRISTINE CONDITION
free of any chips, nicks, cracks, or scratches.
This ring has been set with a 10k Soild White Gold Diamond mount in which the diamond has been set.
The interior of the ring is also fully hallmarked with the maker's mark "OB" which is the hallmark for Ostby & Barton an extremely collectible and sought after vintage brand.

A Note Regarding Our Shipping Safety:
The inside of our shipments is cleaned along with the ring box and packing materials with Tricide 10, a virucidal in an alcohol spray that disinfects and leaves no residue. The rings are cleaned using an ultraviolet UV-C sterilizer disinfection box that sterilizes without the use of any chemicals that might damage the gemstone.
Regarding Ring Sizing:
Be wary of any online seller that offers sizing of a ring before it is shipped to you. Due to differences in measuring devices and the way certain types of rings fit these rings should only be sized in person by your local jeweler. Sizing by your local jeweler is relatively inexpensive and you will have a ring that properly fits your finger. All size 9 rings are not the same. The ring may fit on a mandrel and measure as a size 9 but the way the ring is made, the way the ring has been enlarged or reduced, and the finger type you have may make it fit like an 8 or 10 or worse. Have your sizing done in person for a proper fit.
If you don't know your ring size you can Google search

and use their online tool. They also have a conversion tool for converting US ring sizes to international sizes.
Bid with confidence we are a longtime eBay seller with 1000's of positive feedbacks. Our rings are CHECKED and CLEANED (unless otherwise stated) by our JEWELER so condition is not a problem
We make every effort to represent our rings accurately by listing the weight of our rings down to the tenth of a gram and dimensions to the mm. Please use these measurements to gauge heft and scale.
An explanation of the measurements in the "Ring Size & Measurements" section. The tall measurement is the distance from the bottom or shank of the ring to the middle peak of the gemstone most easily measured when wearing the ring and placing the hand flat on the table and measuring the height of the ring from the table. The wide measurement is the width of the ring from outside to outside at the widest point when looking at the ring from the top. The rise from the finger measurement is the height of the ring from the finger to the peak of the gemstone when worn.
In the final photo the tick marks on the L-Square are 1 millimeter apart.
All of our photos are taken using DAYLIGHT BULBS with a color temperature of 5000k so the colors in the photos are extremely close to a true representation of the actual color of the rings and gemstones.

International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
The reason for our international shipping rate is due to the fact we cannot ship internationally without proper tracking door to door and insurance (Ebay shipping regulations). We make nothing on this shipping rate and in many cases the actual shipping cost is more than our posted rate. Since all our shipments are fully insured, in all international shipments the insured value must match the customs form valuation.
A Note on Sizing:
Due to differences in measuring devices and the way certain types of rings fit, we do not offer resizing on our rings. We encourage you to have your sizing done at your local reputable jeweler.
