    Description

    Antique English Copper Muller Boot for Ale Beer, Wine 1800’s. (See the Made in England Stamp by the Handle)
    The home-made ale or cider was poured into a stone mug by the 18th century Innkeeper then placed in the circular end of the Copper Muller. The tapered part or 'shoe' is gently pushed into the glowing embers of the fire until it is considered warm enough to drink.
    These were used in colonial days (and up to the late 1800s).
