This is an unusual copper stick lid. It is marked with the initials T.F. that could be for the chef or owner. There is no makers mark, but was obviousmade by a skilled coppersmith. the size 18 is on the handle and not the copper. The handle is smooth iron with a cut-out keyhole shaped hanging loop. It is tightly attached with copper rivets, flattened and shaped like eyes on the underside. The tin is worn, the copper is pitted with spots. The symmetry is good and it sits flat. It is heavy weighing 1 lb. 12 oz. and 2mm thick. This is an unusual lid. Thank you for looking.
