Antique Copper Kettle-Gooseneck Spout-Curved Handle w/wood handhold-Portugal

Description

Elegantly curved gooseneck spout, graceful handle riveted to top of kettle with a central wooden handhold.  Stamped at base of handle on one side: Made in Portugal.  Lid has an easily gripped knob at the top.  Kettle holds more than 2 quarts of water - ready to provide lots of hot water.
There is a half inch dent on one side of the upper outer rim - please see photo for closeup.  The rest of the kettle feels smooth with no dings or dents.
