Antique heavy copper cooking pot that has been well used. Did it come across the country with my great grandparents in the 1860's? maybe so; it has been in my family for ages. It is hand crafted, rustic, battered, but beautiful, tin lined, with a dull patina. It has two metal handles of a silver-grey color and is very sturdy. Made in Germany, DRGM and the number 109542 are imprinted at one handle, and 10% NIPL with crossed arrows and F. W. & J. are imprinted at the opposite handle (see photo). The size is 5 1/4 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches including the handles, and approximately 8 1/2 inches diameter. It shows wear from use and its age. The shape is not perfect, and it is not smooth (rather lumpy, which adds to its charm
