Here is this stunning early 20th century antique Art Deco huge palladium ring but natural purple sapphires and both single cut and full cut round brilliant diamonds , this ring weighs 8.8 grams and it is a size 6.25 . The top of this ring measures 23.7 mm north to south but it's even wider east to west at 25.5 mm . The top of this ring sits over 13 mm off the finger with all of the gemstones supported by a thick sturdy open work gallery , the craftsmanship is amazing with 22 round faceted single cut VS quality diamonds set in a ribbon design with some of the diamonds in a in and out pattern underneath the ribbons , there are 4 full cut round brilliant diamonds that are G - H color VS1 SI1 clarity . Next there are six amazing oval faceted natural earth mined purple sapphires each approx .65 ct and very securely set , these sapphires have been carefully examined under magnification and they are natural gemstones with modest inclusions and not all the same color as a couple of them have a little hint of red in the purple when seen in the right lighting .This ring has a total gem carat weight of approx 4.1 tcw sapphires and diamonds .
