    Description

Sourced in Normandy, France, this fabulous bowl from the late 1800s surely hung many times in a kitchen or farmhouse fireplace to cook family meals. Very sturdy, it has large iron side handles firmly riveted to the main body and reinforced by metal plates to avoid any weakness to the copper. The trim is also folded around a thick iron ring adding to its solidity. The interior is doubled with a tin lining. As the photos show, this very old bowl hasn’t led a functional life and has earned many bumps and bruises over the decades on the exterior and interior.  Rustic with a fabulous patina! Highly collectible. Add this beauty to your French copper collection.
Measures 6" high/deep to the trim (8½" with handles); 12½" in diameter at the rolled trim. Heavy; weighs 2.300 kg.
Shipped within the Continental USA only.
