    , from Rene Fitzpatrick Jr. to H.G. Phelps, at New Orleans.
    A scarce early Republic of Texas letter from Marshall, in Harrison County.
    Good content, arranging for Phelps to ship 40 barrels of potatoes to B.H. Martin at Benton, Texas, and also asks for an assortment of Garden Seed, "mostly cabbage".
    Includes:
    "Dear Sir,
    You may ship 40 Bbls of Potatoes, the Mr. Schanick's, or some favorite brand, to B. H. Martin, Benton, Texas for your account, at a stipulated price and, my profit all above that price. If not, ship them for us both - and I will sell them for our account to the best advantage, and account to you when sold.
    Send me an assortment of Garden Seed, mostly Cabbage, some or Dollars worth, Drumhead & Early York, 1/2 Cabbage.
    Get the Potatoes shipped at the lowest price possible and immediately.
