    Description

    1831 stampless cover letter addressed to N. J. Shrafe at Dartmouth College from his parents Mary and Jacob Shrafe in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In good condition, with the exception of tiny voids and light soiling along several creases. A previous owner has also made a few notations in pencil. One side of the page is written by Mary, and the other by Jacob, and the contents describe her illness. The entire sheet measures just under 16 inches wide, and the height is 10 inches.
